GFARIAS.COM won bidding to supply consultancy service for Federal Education Department, in which it is going to accomplish studies to specify the use political technician-pedagogical of Moodle in UAB (Open University of Brazil), the world wide biggest distance learning operation. It also will make part of the consultancy service Moodle's implantation in all Federal Education Department's Secretariats, as well as the training of Moodle use for hundreds of public higher education professors. Along 8 months, all the public universities related to UAB will rely on GFARIAS.COM's support to optimize the operation of dozen of distance learning based courses.

GFARIAS.COM became Open University collaborator. With this new activity, GFARIAS.COM will aggregate Brazilian distance learning community to share experience in the use of Moodle. To achieve this goal, Giovanni Farias will use Flashmeeting, the Flash based Open University technology used to synchronize meeting, in order to meet people distributed in different places around Brazil and the world.

GFARIAS.COM completes 10 years of activities, providing consulting and technical services specialized on distance education matters. What began focused on web-design and usability for man-machine interface analysis, since 2001 GFARIAS.COM started working with Moodle and instructional design. Since 2004 is totally focused on distance education Brazilian market, and since 2006 is the official representative of Moodle in Brazil.

The UNIMES VIRTUAL, one of the largest virtual universities of Brazil, has hired GFARIAS.COM to set up its web based distance learning operation. All the operation will be based on the use of Moodle, what gives to GFARIAS's staff the responsibility of setting up the servers, training the UNIMES's staff and specify the pedagogical strategy for using a LMS to manage the learning process of ten thousand students.
